Frosinone have returned to the first stage of Italian football after a season in which they proved they deserve a place in football’s elite.

Daniel Boloka, the player who turned down Romania for Italy, was one of the most important components of the team last season.

The 24-year-old made 31 appearances in Serie B last season and scored twice as the side finished the season relegated to Serie A.

His developments did not go unnoticed, such teams as “Fiorentina”, “Lazio” and “Sassuolo” were interested in his services.

Journalist Nicolo Schira writes that Sassuolo has reached an agreement with Frosinone and the player will be transferred for a fee of 6 million euros.

It would be a huge step for Boloka considering Sassuolo finished the season in 13th place.
