Now the 101st in the world ranking, the athlete from the USA has rejected the accusations.
“The suspension is not an acknowledgment of the fact that I did something wrong; On the contrary, I denied this accusation and await the decision of an independent court.
I have never taken a drug test and I have never taken a substance I am not allowed to take. I was repeatedly tested, including three times after the operation in March 2023″ – Jenson Brooksby in the application.
Brooksby has not played since the Australian Open in January after undergoing two wrist surgeries. In Melbourne, Jenson knocked out Casper Ruud (favourite 2), but was stopped in the third round.
Brooksby, 22, said one of the alleged missed tests came two days before the ATP 250 tournament in Hertogenbosch last June.
“During this test attempt, I was at the official tournament hotel where I promised to be, in my hotel room, and then I said I would be there,” Jenson Brooksby.
In 2021, Brusbki was named ATP Rookie of the Year. The American has three finals, all of which were lost (Newport-2021, Dallas and Atlanta-2022).
