Dominik Soboslay has become the most expensive Hungarian player in history after Liverpool activated the release clause in the midfielder’s contract with RB Leipzig.
Liverpool paid 70 million euros for Dominik Soboshlaj
For example, the Premier League paid 70 million euros for the services of the captain of the Hungarian national team (7 goals in 32 tackles). Dominic still had a contract with RB Leipzig until the summer of 2026.
Soboslai scored 22 goals and provided 22 decisive results in 91 matches in which he wore the shirt of RB Leipzig (the team he joined in January 2021).
RB Leipzig are through to the Champions League groups (Bundesliga 3rd place), but Soboshlaj will play Liverpool in the Europa League groups (EPL 5th place).
This is Liverpool’s second transfer of the summer, after the Cormorants also brought in Argentine Alexis McAllister (Brighton).
