The second set, however, was at the discretion of Gabriela, who categorically won and took a big step towards entering the main draw.
The game lasted one hour and 17 minutes.
In the semi-finals, Gabriela Ruse will meet Janina Wickmaier of Belgium (111 WTA), the favorite to qualify at number 17.
Wimbledon 2023 will be held from July 3 to 16 at the London All England Club complex.
