The youth national team of Romania is preparing for the U21 European Championship, which will be held in our country and in Georgia from June 21 to July 8. Selector Emil Sandoi has determined the final group with which he will go to the games.

Emil Sandoi waived David Mikulescu and Alexandru Cimpana

Of the 27 players called up for a training session in Italy, selector Emil Sandoi was forced to drop four for the final group.

Goalkeeper Otto Hindrich (Kisvarda), defender Marco Emann (Paralimniu) and midfielders David Mikulescu (FCSB) and Aleksandra Cimpana (University of Craiova) will miss Euro 2023, Digisport reports.

Romania will debut at the European Championship in a match at Genca Stadium against Spain on June 21.
