​Carla Suarez Navarro announced two years ago that she won the battle with cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma), and the former WTA No. 6 (February 29, 2016) gave birth to two little girls.

Carla Suarez Navarro gave birth to twins

The couple announced the pregnancy in December, just over a year after Carla played her last professional tennis match.

At the age of 34, Karla and her partner (football player Olga Garcia – 31) announced that the twins are called Noah and Ona.

“Hello everyone! Noah and Ona are finally with us! We are so happy to be a family of four! We are starting a new adventure full of happiness and love!” – Carla Suarez Navarro on Twitter.

“The feeling of the birth of two girls cannot be described, it is a huge responsibility for us and we want to see how they grow together with us. This is a day we will never forget, a moment that fills us with great affection and love” – Carla Suarez Navarro in a press statement.

In her career, Carla Suarez Navarro won two singles tournaments, Oeiras – 2014 and Doha, and also played nine more finals, the most important in Miami and Rome in 2015. At the Grand Slam tournaments, she played in the quarters several times, at the Australian Open, Roland Garros and the US Open, and at Wimbledon she reached the 1/8 finals.
