Rapid Bucharest ended the season with a very good result for the morale of the team. Giulesti’s team emphatically won the match against FCSB, held at the National Arena in Bucharest, with a score of 5-1.

Octavian Popescu was eliminated, reducing the difference in favor of the hosts

FCSB used a more experimental team in their last match against Rapid in Bucharest, a match attended by over 18,000 spectators.

Giulesti had a fantastic first half and the Adrian Mutu-coached side were 3-0 up at half-time.

Kevin Lucassen opened the scoring in the 7th minute for the visitors, and Stefan Panoiu (17th) and Paul Jakob (26th) made it 3-0 after the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, Billel Omrani, Valentin Kretsu and Octavian Popescu entered the field, the latter reduced the difference in the 58th minute.

After 5 minutes, Octavian Popescu was eliminated by Sebastian Kolcescu after a shot from Funcho.

The Nigerian took revenge in the best way and scored twice in the 68th and 79th minutes.
