Borussia Dortmund are struggling with their squad ahead of a game that could deliver another title after an 11-year absence. According to coach Edin Terzic, Jude Bellingham is unsure and could miss the game.

Jude Bellingham could miss the crucial match for Dortmund

The Bundesliga leaders are two points ahead of Bayern Munich (70-68) and must beat Mainz at the Westfalenstadion on Saturday (4.30pm) to be crowned champions and end Bayern’s decade-long run of unbroken dominance.

“There is a question mark for Jude. In recent days, he managed to strengthen his training program, which looks good, but he still hasn’t trained with us on the pitch,” explained Terzic.

Bellingham sat out Borussia’s 3-0 win against Augsburg last week after picking up knee pain in Borussia’s 5-2 win at Mönchengladbach.

“We will look at today’s and tomorrow’s training and decide if he is good enough for the starting position. Of course we want him to be in the team on Saturday,” the coach added, according to News.ro.

Bellingham, who is in advanced talks with Real Madrid, could play his final game for BVB on Saturday and end his three seasons in the Ruhr with a title, according to Spanish and German media.
