Borussia Dortmund capitalized on a mistake by Bayern Munich to beat Augsburg 3-0 to become the new leaders of the Bundesliga with one leg of the season remaining.

Bayern Munich lost 3-1 to RB Leipzig on Saturday and Dortmund were undaunted by the fluke that ensued.

Dominating from the 38th minute, after Uduohaya was sent off, Augsburg struggled to cope with Dortmund’s attacks.

The students, who are coached by Edin Terzic, only opened the scoring in the 59th minute to Sebastien Haller, who managed to double the score in the 84th minute.

The table was closed by Julian Brandt after a goal scored in the third minute of overtime.

Back at the top, Dortmund play with the title in the table in the last leg, at home against Mainz.

Instead, “Bayern” will play on the road with “Cologne”.
