Having minimal chances of winning the European Cups, Rapid has already started changes in the composition for the upcoming season of the Super League. After the contract extension and the first transfer, Giulesti parted ways with the first player.
Luban Krepulja left Rapid two years later
The Adrian Mutu-coached side have already extended the contracts of veterans Christy Sepunaru, Junior Morais and Virgil Dragia, who were set to expire at the end of this season.
In addition, young midfielder Omar El-Sawi is the first signing for next season.
As for departures, Giulesti announced on Saturday that he was parting ways with Croatian midfielder Ljuban Krepulja after two years with the Whites and Cherries, according to the official website.
At the time of the end of the contract, Krepulia collected 46 matches for Rapid, of which 22 in the current season.
At the age of 29, the Croatian also played for Mechelen, Sarajevo, Saligorsk, Slaven Belupo, Bragovliac and Astra Giurgiu.
Dragos Grigore, Claudio Belu Iordake and Kevin Lucassen are also out of contract this summer, but the club have not made a decision on them at this point.
In the ninth stage of the Super League playoffs, Rapid will play on Monday at home from 20:30 against the University of Craiova.
