The former coach of the Romanian football team, Christophe Daum, is in intensive care at a hospital in New York, RTL informs.

Christoph Daum was diagnosed with cancer in October 2022

A few months ago, the German was diagnosed with lung cancer, and now he was forced to refuse an interview with the quoted source due to health problems.

“I’m in a hospital in New York, in the intensive care unit. You can’t count on me now,” Daum told RTL.

The source also reports that the former coach is in the hospital due to an infection that occurred after the surgery he underwent about three weeks ago.
