Borussia Dortmund cruised to a decisive 5-2 home win over Borussia M’Gladbach on Saturday night to stay within a point of champions Bayern Munich, who also produced a 6-0 thrashing of Schalke.

Borussia M’Gladbach and Schalke, destroyed by two contenders for the Bundesliga title

Terzych’s side responded to the impressive success of rivals Bayern Munich, beating Schalke 04 6-0.

The formation coached by Thomas Tuchel had no mercy on the form fighting to avoid relegation and scored 6 times: Thomas Müller (21 min), Joshua Kimmich (29 min), Serge Gnabry (50 min and min. 65), Matis Tel (min. 80) and Nussair Mazraoui (min. 90+2).

Borussia Dortmund gave a worthy response and defeated Borussia M’Gladbach with a score of 5-2.

The yellow and black had an exceptional first half and managed to score 4 times in the opponent’s goal, thanks to Donyel Mullen (min. 5), Jude Bellingham (min. 18) and Sebastien Haller (min. 20 and min. 32).

In the second half, Rami Bensebaini reduced the difference with a shot from 11 meters in the 75th minute, but the hosts also closed the score. In the 4th minute of overtime, Giovanni Reina scored 5-2.
