Iryna Begu Sorana Kirstya and Ana Bohdan learned about their opponents from WTA Rome

Serial head No. 31 in Rome, Iryna Begu is taken directly to the second round and will play the winner of Xia Wang (75 WTA) and Lucrezia Stefanini (105 WTA). In case of victory, Iryna could face Jessica Pegula (favorite 3).

Sorana Kirstea (34 WTA) will beat Katy Volynets (102 WTA) in the first round. If she gets past the American, our athlete will meet Latvian Jelena Ostapenko (20 WTA, Roland Garros-2017 champion) in the second round.

Ana Bohdan (61 WTA) will play a duel in the first round with a qualifier. If she wins, Caroline Garcia (favourite 5) will stand in her way.

It can also reach the main table Gabriela Ruse (152 WTA), who will meet the Brazilian Laura Pigossi (133 WTA) in the first round of qualification.
