Tsitsipas ended up with a break point at 1-1 due to a double mistake by Tim in the 3rd set. The two players went hand in hand until 5-5. However, at this point, Tim’s mistake gave Tzitsipach a break point, but Tim managed to equalize.
Tsitsipas persevered and subsequently took two more break points, but there were no retaliatory strikes, and in the end Tim came out unscathed, taking a 5-6 lead.
