Immediately after that, he held his serve at a score of 5:2, while again “breaking” Shapovalov’s serve and making it 6:2, taking the second set and winning.

In the quarterfinals of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, Tsitsipas will face Alex De Minor. The 24-year-old Australian went to the G8 without a fight, as the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov withdrew from today’s match between them due to illness. Tsitsipas and De Minor have met eight times at the ATP level in the past, with the Greek champion taking as many wins.
