Barcelona are looking for a solution to the possible departure of Sergio Busquets, and Sport.es journalists write that Javi Hernandez’s team has agreed with Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan.

In the final months of his contract with the Citizens, Gundogan has not received a suitable offer to extend his deal at the Etihad Stadium and is ready to play at Camp Nou from next season.

The move would have already been decided by Matteo Alemany, Barcelona’s sporting director, who reached an agreement with the German midfielder’s agents.

In the summer, Gundogan will sign a contract with Barcelona for two seasons, each year he will receive 12 million euros.

Ilkay Gundogan arrived at Manchester City in the summer of 2016 and has since made 293 appearances for the reigning English champions.

The German has 54 goals and 38 assists for City, and in his almost 7 years he has won 4 titles, 4 League Cups, FA Cup and two Super Cups.
