Other European national teams that made it to the playoffs are Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Poland, and Spain.
The World Cup will be held for the first time in three countries, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, from November 29 to December 17, with 32 national teams at the start.
In Europe, 16 places are allocated, and six of them were taken directly by the teams of the host countries, which were joined by Montenegro, France and the Netherlands according to the CE2022 ranking, writes News.ro.
Romania is the only nation in the world to have participated in all editions of the World Cup, and in 2023 it will be held for the 26th time.
