Aurelian Kitsu, Olteni’s hat-trick in the first half

FC Craiova 1948, recently knocked out of the Romanian Cup quarter-finals by UTA Arad (1-0), beat University of Cluj.

Oltensi decided the match in the first half thanks to Aurelian Kitz.

Former player Farului scored a hat-trick in 22 minutes (5, 7 and 27 minutes) and set up the final score straight from the break.

Yoan Ovidiu Sabau’s men remained outnumbered in the second half after Andriy Miron was sent off in the middle of the game.

“Red caps” reduced the difference in the end (min. 90+2), in the phase when Duarte scored an own goal.
