He came out of hell and returned to earth. Jonuts-Andrei Mihai (34 years old) is just one of many cases of football players who lost their careers due to gambling.

A former youth player of FC Nacional or Rapid, Mihai was one of the most promising strikers of his generation, the U17 national team, but he became addicted to gambling and this fact pushed him to do things he didn’t think he was capable of.

He lost everything, but took it from the beginning. For several years, he did not set foot in a casino, and since 2020, Ionuts Mihai lives in England and, having tried several jobs, decided to return to the sport he loved since childhood.

He has taken the necessary steps to obtain a coaching license and thanks to the well-established system in the United Kingdom, several clubs, apart from Sunderland, have already contacted him to reveal the secrets of the “king of sport” to youngsters who want to become the next Beckhams, Rooney or Kane.
