Erling Haaland will miss his debut in the preliminary matches of EURO 2024
Haaland was Spain’s main enemy in Saturday’s 21:45 match on March 25, the first of the preliminary matches for EURO 2024.
However, the Norwegian forward will not take the field due to a groin injury. Erling will also miss the Scandinavians’ second preliminary game against Georgia.
In Saturday’s game, Luis de la Fuente made his debut on the bench for Spain, replacing Luis Enrique (who left after the Iberians lost to Morocco at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar).
Norway’s national team Haland has been drawn into Group A of the qualifying tournament along with Spain, Scotland, Cyprus and Georgia.
