The 25-year-old Dutch Red Bull driver said he had been suffering from gastroenteritis this week. Verstappen is expected to take part in the first free practice on Friday.

The Grand Prix at the Jeddah circuit will take place on Sunday from 19:00 and can be watched live on Digisport, Orange Sport and Prima Sport channels.
