A gift to Emmanuel Orban, the fastest hat-trick in the history of European Cups

Gent’s young Nigerian forward put in a performance that is hard to match, scoring three times in just three minutes, the fastest hat-trick in the history of European competition.

The first success came in the 31st minute, with a shot from the edge of the penalty area. A minute later he scored again with a great shot from outside the box.

In the 34th minute, Orban scored a hat-trick, scoring from inside the penalty area, after the opponent’s goalkeeper made a save.

Gift Emmanuel Orban, 20, was transferred by Gent in January 2023 for €3.3 million from Stabek in the Norwegian second division.

The forward also played for Bison in his home country and is valued at €1 million by Transfermarkt.
