“When I talk about Romania, people from Western Europe don’t expect much. But I found a good country and good people. (laughs) Maybe I was lucky, but I can say that in your country it has been good and very good for me.”
He doesn’t like our traditional food: “I don’t think there is anything I don’t like in Romania. I can say that I did not have a successful experience with the food! I must have been unlucky. Lucky with people, not lucky with food. From personal experience, I wouldn’t say it’s too bad, but… I don’t like polenta! Not at all. And no food that contains polenta. I’m not a heavy guy, but some dishes are very difficult.’
