Leaders Arsenal London had an emphatic 3-0 away win over Fulham, while Manchester City were held to a 0-0 draw by Southampton despite being a man short.

Mikel Arteta’s side claimed their fifth straight Premier League win after Sunday’s result, with Leandro Trossard providing all three assists.

Gabriel opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a header from a corner kick. Gabriel Martinelli also scored with a header in the 26th minute after a cross from the left wing.

The final score in extra time of the first half was set by Martin Odegaard with a shot from inside the penalty area.

Arsenal of London lead the Premier League with 66 points, five more than Manchester City, who are in second place.

Manchester United – Southampton 0-0, Premier League

Bottom-placed Southampton picked up a point at Old Trafford after the hosts dominated for more than half.

Manchester United were reduced to ten men in the 34th minute when Casemiro kicked Alcázar in the shin. Although he was initially shown a yellow card, he was sent off after VAR intervened.

Erik ten Heg’s side now remain on the podium with 50 points, 16 behind leaders Arsenal.
