On Monday, the Court of Arbitration for Sport issued a decision in the case regarding the license to participate in European competitions of the “Farul Constanta” club, FRF reports.

Farul Konstanza will be able to play in European Cups

The club was denied a European license last year following the merger between Farul and Viitorul, and Gheorghe Hagi’s group appealed the decision.

Farul appealed to the TAC after the UEFA commission ruled that the Viitorul-Farul merger had taken place, resulting in a new club, and that it was ineligible to participate in European competitions for the first three years.

“After analyzing the arguments of the club and the FRF, the TAS recognized them as well-founded and decided to cancel the decision of the CFCB.

As for the license for Konstanz Majak to participate in the European Cups, UEFA will review it taking into account the provisions of the TAS decision,” writes FRF.
