Mihai Pintilius: “Winning with CFR keeps us alive for the title”

“CFR is a very good defensive team. We also had some great moments in the first half. Overall, I was in control of the game. We deserved to win. The boys understood the instructions very well and held their own on the pitch very well, especially the central midfielders.

We are enjoying ourselves. We came to take three points, we got them. A very difficult match with FC Voluntari is ahead. We consider each match individually.

There are three points, that’s what I came for. Especially since we were coming after losing the match with Farul and it was normal to think only about victory. I think that’s what keeps us alive for the title. They are still playing. There are still many stages ahead, and everything will be decided in the playoffs.

Now the team played very well. There will still be matches where there will be changes in the breaks. I think the boys showed and deserve the biggest congratulations for what they had. They passed, possessed the ball, had moments, controlled the game, and I congratulate them once again.

Even if we lose or draw, everything will be decided in the playoffs. The six teams that will enter will have equal chances” – Mihai Pintiliusquoted by DigiSport.
