Fresh from winning the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic also received great news at the start of the year: the US authorities have decided to lift the ban on entry into the United States for people who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19, so the Serb will be able to participate in the 2023 US Open.

Novak Djokovic will be able to play at the US Open 2023

The US government has decided to lift the bans related to Covid-19, starting from May 11.

Thus, the Serb will miss the “Masters 1000” tournaments with Indian Wells (March 8-19) and Miami (March 22-April 2), but it will be possible to play on Washington (ATP 500/July 31 – August 6), Cincinnati (Masters 1000/August 13-20) and US Open (Grand Slam/August 28-September 10).

Unvaccinated against Covid-19, Djokovic was unable to participate in the Australian Open and the US Open last year.
