The formation coached by Eugen Neagoe is gathering reinforcements to be able to reach the play-offs, and on Wednesday Olten announced the transfer of the left-back.

“University of Craiova have permanently transferred Basilio Ndonga from IK Start and he will wear the Science shirt for 3 and a half years with an option to extend for another year.

Our new left back from Equatorial Guinea trained at Cano Sport in his home country and previously played for FC Shkupi, KVC Westerlo and most recently IC Start. He will play for Science at number 12.

We wish Basilio many successful games in the Science shirt!” – says the club’s official press release.

At the age of 24, Basilio Ndong is primarily a left midfielder, but he can also play as a left back. Thus, Olteni compensates for the absence of Nikusor Banku, who suffered a serious injury in 2022.

The footballer from Equatorial Guinea also played in his career for Shkupi, Westerlo and Start, from where he transferred.

Basilio Ndong made 38 appearances for his last team, scoring one goal and providing 12 assists.

400 thousand euros is his market share according to Transfermarkt.

He also has 32 selections for the national team.
