Manchester City scored an impressive win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in Round 21 of the Premier League and are waiting for Arsenal to make a mistake against Manchester United.
Manchester City – Wolverhampton 3-0
Pep Guardiola’s men opened the scoring with Erling Haaland’s 40th-minute header from the edge of the penalty area following De Bruyne’s cross.
In the 50th minute, the score was 2:0, the same Haaland realized a shot from 11 meters under the dictates of the referee after a foul by Ruben Navas against Gundogan in the penalty area.
Only four minutes later, the young Norwegian forward completed his hat-trick after a gross mistake by the “Wolves” goalkeeper, who gave the ball directly to the opponent.
Manchester City are consolidating their second position in the Premier League table, just two points behind leaders Arsenal, who take on Manchester United.
