The first leg cost Andrea a place on the podium, after starting in the top 3, Andrea made a few mistakes in the second part of the route and finished 8th with a time of 1:00.02.

The second stage was excellent, with a third starting reaction time and a second downhill time of 59.80, ahead of Olympic champion Kayleigh Humphreys.

Only German Laura Nolte was faster than Andrea.

With a result of 1:59.82, Andrea took 6th place in the competition ranking and received 176 points.

Another Romanian athlete, Georgeta Popescu, the 2020 Lausanne Youth Olympic champion, finished 14th in 2:01.75.
