
Director James Cameron has announced that he may sign three more sequels to the Avatar saga. Following the success of the second installment, which was released in mid-December, the film became the ninth biggest hit of all time with over $1.5 billion. .
“I feel that with the success the film is currently enjoying, it is likely to turn a profit in the coming days. So I won’t be able to stop him. I’ll have to do other sequels,” he said on HBO Max’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”
“I know what I will do in the next six to seven years. I say everything will be fine. We’ll be talking to Disney experts soon about Avatar 3, which is already in production. We are even in the post-production stage, and Avatar 4 and 5 have already been written, and part 4 has been shot,” said the director.
