Argentinian Lionel Messi ended 2022 perfectly. He broke several records and managed to lift the World Cup trophy in Qatar.

Messi, thanks for a fantastic year

In the final hours of 2022, the PSG footballer posted a photo on social media with his wife and three children along with a message of thanks and thoughts about 2023.

“This is the end of the year that I will never forget. A dream I’ve always had has finally come true. But it wouldn’t be worth it if I couldn’t enjoy it with a wonderful family, the best I can have, and some friends who always support me and never let me stay down when I’m down.

Also a very special thought for all the people who follow me and support me, it’s amazing to be able to share this with you. It would not have been possible to reach the top without such support from people in my country, in Paris, Barcelona and many other cities and countries.

I hope this year has been great for everyone and I wish you health and strength to continue to be happy in 2023.
