Arsenal confirmed their status as favorites away from Brighton and scored a clean victory (4-2) at the Amex Stadium.

Arsenal are 7 points behind Manchester City

The team coached by Mikel Arteta showed another exceptional result and decisively defeated the team from Brighton.

Bukayo Saka opened the score two minutes later, and before the break, Martin Odergaard doubled the advantage of the guests (min. 39).

Eddie Nketiah made it 3-0 early in the second half (47th minute), but the hosts showed signs of recovery and reduced the gap thanks to Japan’s Kaoru Mitoma (65th minute).

Gabriel Martinelli also scored to make it 4-2 (71st minute), but the final word rested with the team coached by Roberto De Zerbi. 18-year-old Evan Ferguson also scored (min. 77), setting up the final score.

The hosts also had a goal disallowed by VAR late in the game.
