The duration of the design and implementation of the new stadium is 28 months.

Corvinul Hunedoara is currently in first place in Serie 9 Ligue 3 with 14 wins and a draw.

The sports complex “Michael Klein” will be built on an area of 37,207 square meters, the height regime consists of a basement, basement and three floors.

The complex will also include changing rooms equipped with toilets and showers, toilets for people, a medical office, administrative rooms, technical and storage rooms, a restaurant area, conference rooms, boxing, strength and cardio rooms, as well as premises for rent.

In addition to the interior spaces, a new exterior layout will be proposed, which includes the creation of a walking and event area, as well as parking for 435 spaces. The main football field will be equipped with night lighting, a broadcast screen and an electronic scoreboard.

“We have traditions in football, and the new arena will help us have a good future. It will be a county-wide stadium that will also be able to host cultural events, a stadium that will sometimes gather audiences within a radius of at least 100 kilometers.

If the tender procedures start in the spring of next year and pass without significant delays, we have reason to hope that work can begin in the second half of 2023,” – Day of Bobutanuthe mayor of Hunedoara, quoted by Agerpres.

The new stadium will be built on the site of the current arena in Hunedoara. The costs of demolishing the old stadium will be borne by Hunedoara City Hall.
