Brazil could have been eliminated in the 1/8 finals this year World Cup, but apparently neither that nor the health problems he’s been dealing with lately have stopped him Pele from continuing to watch this year’s event to ending it and enjoying its greatness with the rest of the planet Lionel Messi and Argentina who “picked up”.

Social media has been flooded with images of (mostly) Messi since yesterday’s final between Argentina and France as all the attention of the evening rightfully fell on the Albiceleste captain, who added the trophy to his collection.

Among this flurry of publications, we saw him Pele, who uploaded a photo of the Argentina national team to his official account and wrote:

“Today, football, as always, continues to tell its fascinating story. Messi won his first World Cup as he deserved in his career. Dear friend Mbappe, you scored four goals in one final. What a gift for the future of our sport it was to witness this spectacle. And I couldn’t help but congratulate Morocco on its incredible move. Nice to see shining Africa. Congratulations Argentina! Diego must be smiling right now.”
