Former Premier League champion Blackburn Rovers (1995) Chris Sutton (now an analyst) criticized Cristiano.

The former England international believes that Ronaldo is not a good example for children around the world – he cheated in the game against Ghana, diving in the penalty area and receiving a more than dubious penalty.

Sutton acknowledges Cristiano’s fantastic value, but says the Lusitanian’s behavior can have a negative impact on children around the world.

“What Ronaldo did is not good at all, it is a bad example for the children of the world. He’s a very good player but he cheated,” Chris Sutton for the Daily Mail.
