Qatar and Ecuador met in the opening match of the FIFA World Cup, and after the final whistle, images of Japanese fans in attendance at the Al-Bayt Stadium went viral online.
Japanese fans cleaned the Al-Bayt stadium after the match between Qatar and Ecuador at the 2022 World Cup
Ecuador won 2-0, and at the end of the game, the Japanese fans present in the arena began to collect the trash left after the opening match.
In a video posted on social media, Omar Al-Farouq (a famous YouTuber from Bahrain) was shocked to show the world how Japanese fans are trying to collect all the trash in the stadium.
When asked by Omar why he does this, one of the Japanese clearly answered: “we are Japanese, and we do not leave garbage behind.”
In addition, it is not the first time that Japanese fans clean arenas where they participate in various sports events.
