According to the results of the fans’ vote, Kristina Nyagu was included in the ideal team of the European Women’s Handball Championship in 2022.

Nyagu was named the best player in the left wing position (39 goals in 6 matches), which also happened in 2010, 2012 and 2014.

Krina Pintea was nominated for the position of central.

Cristina Nyagu announced that this was her last participation in the Romanian national team at the European Championship. Our player is the top scorer (303 goals) in the history of continental competitions (both women’s and men’s).
