
David Popovici won another gold medal at the National Short Course Swimming Championships, held in Otopeni. Adrian Redulescu’s student won the 200 m freestyle on Friday.
The athlete, registered in CS “Dynamo”, won with a result of 1:43.06.
The podium was completed by Mihai Gergeli (CSM Cluj-Napoca, 1:46.58) and Vlad Stefan Mihalake (ACS Aqua Sport Citius Bucharest, 1:49.08).
On Thursday, Popovici won gold in the 100m freestyle with a time of 46.62 (a national record).
