Suarez and Cavani are not the only veterans in Diego Alonso’s team: Diego Godin (36), Martin Caceres (35) and Fernando Muslera (36) will be at the final world tournament for the fourth time in a row.
At the 2022 World Cup, Uruguay (world champion in 1930 and 1950) will enter Group H along with South Korea, Portugal and Ghana.
