Having already been relegated from the Conference League, FCSB suffered further humiliation in the latest round of Group B as the Romanian runners-up suffered a 3-0 defeat at the National Arena against reserves West Ham United.

Goals were scored by Fornals (’40, ’65) and Dava (’56, own goal).

In the other Group B match, Anderlecht beat Silkeborg 2-0 (a team that twice beat FCSB 5-0) to advance to the round of 16 playoffs.
