FCSB seemed to be on their way to their first victory in Group B of the Romanian Cup, but the ending of the match against UTA was bright. Four players were eliminated (three from Nicolae Dike’s team), and Arad’s players drew 2-2 in the last phase.

FCSB draw with UTA Arad after a four-elimination match

UTA opened the scoring with Pop (‘8), FCSB took the lead thanks to goals from Radunovic (’23, penalty) and Radaslavescu (’47), but the home team equalized with Postolaci (’90+6).

In the 83rd minute, Buenna (FCSB) received a yellow card and was sent off after ironically applauding the referee. Five minutes later, Cindris (UTA) imitated a guest player and also saw a red card, although he was on the bench.

Radunovic (’90+1) and Octavian Popescu (’90+4) also went to the locker room early, and FCSB’s defense gave way in the hosts’ last action.
