With one win and one loss, PAOK and Milos entered their European volleyball cup duties. PAOK defeated Nafels 3:1 at the Confederations Cup (20:25, 25:20, 25:15, 25:13), while Miloš was defeated by Hapoel Mare Asher 3:2 (25:17 , 18:25, 25-16, 14-25, 8-15) in the Challenge Cup match.

This year’s premiere matches were played by PAOK in the best possible way. Thessaloniki club under the leadership of van den Dries beat Nafels at the PAOK sports arena. Josko Milenkoski’s team have achieved their goal and will travel to Switzerland next week with the aim of achieving a result that will give them a place in the “32” of the Confederations Cup.

The match began with the recognition of both teams, the Swiss took advantage of the mistakes of the Greek team and took the first set. The sequel developed completely differently. For the team of Milos yesterday was a historic day. The club played its first European volleyball match but failed to combine premiership with victory. The match took place in Nea Smyrni and Miloš won the first set. Hapoel Mare Asher equalized the score, after which the home team closed the gap and regained the lead. However, in the 4th and 5th sets, the club from Israel won.
