After two busy weeks, Barbora pulled out of Cluj-Napoca at the last minute as the main favorite in the BTArena tournament.
The athlete from the Czech Republic declares that she has a wrist injury, so she will not participate in Transylvania Open 2022.
In addition to Krejcikova, Emma Redukanu and Iryna Begu competed in the last 100 meters of the tournament in Cluj.
After this rejection, Angelina Kalinin will become the main favorite to win the Transylvania Open. She is followed on the list by Ana Bohdan, Anastasia Potavapova, Magda Lynette and Marta Kostyuk.
The Transylvania Open takes place from October 10 to 16 in Cluj-Napoca, it is played on indoor hard, the tournament is part of the WTA 250 category, it has a total prize money of $251,750 and the title champion is Anette Kontaveit.
