
Lorenzo Sonego won the ATP 250 tournament in Metz on Sunday, beating Kazakhstan’s Oleksandr Bublyk (44 ATP) in straight sets in the final.
The Italian, ranked 65th in the world, won after an hour and a half against the seventh seed 7-6(3), 6-2.
During the competition in France, Lorenzo also beat Aslan Karatsev (39 ATP), Gilles Simon (175 ATP), Sebastian Corda (49 ATP) and Hubert Gurkac (10 ATP, defending champion).
