Konstantinos Coulierakis is expected to be called up to the national football team for the Nations League matches in place of Yorgos Tsavellas. The young PAOK defender will be selected by Gustavo Poyet for matches against Cyprus and Northern Ireland.
The 18-year-old will replace Giorgos Cavellas. The AEK defender was injured when he slammed his hand on the glass during the break of the match with Panaitolikos, as a result of which he was taken to the hospital.
The 34-year-old has undergone surgery and is expected to be out for one to one and a half months. Koulierakis participated in this year’s championship in all five matches played by the team from Thessaloniki.
The PAOK football player was born on November 28, 2003. He played for national teams under 17 and under 19.
