
The men’s skeet shooting team won the silver medal at the European Shooting Championships held in Larnaca, Cyprus. Babis Chalkiadakis, Nikos Mavrommatis and Makis Mitas performed well at the event.
It is noted that the national skeet team recently won a silver medal at the World Cup stage in Baku. Greece reached the final where they faced Italy. The final was decided in detail: the Italians climbed to the highest step of the podium.
Emmanuela Katsourakis and Nikos Mavrommatis finished eighth in qualifying and managed to reach the mixed skeet team final. In the final for the bronze medal, they were not allowed on the podium by the Swedish team. The Greek team ended up finishing in sixth place.
