Thomas Tuchel emotional message after Chelsea sacking: I’m devastated, Stamford Bridge was my home

“This is one of the hardest statements to make, and I was hoping I wouldn’t have to write it.

I am devastated that my time at Chelsea has come to an end. This is a club where I felt at home, both professionally and personally.

The pride and joy I felt helping the team win the Champions League and the Club World Cup will forever remain in my memory.

I am honored to be a part of the club’s history and the memories of the last 19 months will always hold a special place in my heart.

Thanks to the staff, players and fans who have supported me from the beginning.” – Thomas Tuchel.

“Chelsea” announced that Graham Potter, the former technician of “Brighton”, became the new head coach of the team.

London “Chelsea” dismissed coach Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea made their Champions League debut as a left-back as the former European champions were beaten 1-0 by Dinamo Zagreb. The defeat cost Tuchel the position of coach, and the German was removed from the team.

Tuchel came to Chelsea in January 2021, and at the end of the season brought the Champions League trophy to the window of the London group (1:0 in the final against Manchester City).

Chelsea also won the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup that year.

Tuchel’s sacking came just after the manager marked his 100th appearance on the Chelsea bench. During his reign, the Londoners won 60 times, drew 24 times and lost 16 games.

After six competitive stages, “Chelsea” is in 6th place in the Premier League, having scored 10 points (5 behind the leader “Arsenal”).
