Simona Halep, 8th place in the ranking of the Tournament of Champions
Halep suffered a surprise first-round loss to Daria Snigur at Flushing Meadows, and some of her rivals on the world stage have taken her place in the Champions League rankings.
With 2,661 accumulated points, Simona is in 8th place in the Live rating. She was overtaken by Aryna Sabalenko last, after the athlete from Belarus made it to the semi-finals of the US Open.
