
Adrian Mannarino became the first Frenchman to win an ATP event in Winston-Salem, beating Serbia’s Laszlo Jere (89 ATP) in the last action.
Mannarino was ranked No. 65 at the opening event in North Carolina to cruise to a 7-6(1), 6-4 victory in the final.
During the tournament, the Frenchman also surpassed Christopher O’Connell (121 ATP), Emile Ruusuvuori (44 ATP), Albert Ramos-Vignolas (42 ATP), Maxime Cressy (34 ATP) and Botik van de Zandschulp (23 ATP).
